MAJOR UPGRADE This cold air intake worked great on my Jeep. At highway speeds (5th gear) on some heavy inclines with a load it let the engine keep on rolling (up to 75+ without downshifting to 4th)…plus it makes a really cool roar when accelerating. Now I just need an exhaust to match
Increased performance, needs simple instructions and diagrams Gas prices are going sky high, so I’m trying to get the most out of every gallon. I purchased the Airaid intake system, arrived fast via UPS. I know my way around the engine of a jeep, but the instructions were not the best, a little too confusing at times, but I got it installed. I’m getting an extra mile to the gallon, so if you do the math, it will pay for itself in a year for me.
Airaid 310-158 This product fit like a glove, very well engineered and took almost no time to remove the OEM air intake system and install the 310-158. I noticed the improved horsepower immedatly, the gas milage has also improved slightly, between .5 and 1 mpg better.
How do you account for the level of success in leadership? This examine has been on my mind for sometime. Muslims know that the greatest example of leadership is Prophet Muhammad so I turned to him for inspiration. I searched at amazon and came across this DVD. I won’t spoil it for you by telling you too distinguished, but I can categorize my thought as per two target audiences:
FOR NON-MUSLIMS: You will catch this production very informative and non-biased-as the main producers and creators of this production are three Muslim, Christian, and Jewish Americans (irregular, but fair) . The guests who are interviewed also reach from different faiths; so this production is not about a group of Muslims going on and on about how extraordinary the prophet was. You will learn about how this religion got started, how did Muhammad become the prophet of Islam, and how did he lead Muslims around him and throughout centuries. The production mixes between past life of the prophet and how Muslims behave today. The universality of the production and interviews are very well presented.
FOR MUSLIMS: If you live or lived in a Muslim country and learned about Islam and the prophet since childhood, most likely, you won’t collect noteworthy to learn about the prophet that you didn’t already know. However, the examples of Muslim Americans and what they’re doing in their daily lives to live the Muslim contrivance of life are truly captivating and worth seeing. If it’s for nothing else, it makes you proud of seeing some trustworthy Muslims who are fair ordinary people.
The quality of the production is worthy. There is a well-behaved mix between interviews and footage of universal sceneries. The producers had a major challenge for not being allowed to explain any illustrations or originate any reenactments portraying Prophet Muhammad, who’s the lead character, since that’s not welcomed by Islam. Nevertheless, this production tells an entertaining yarn that took region more than 1400 years ago of a man who within a period of only 23 years managed to change history.
This is a really spellbinding, keen, and much documentary. Interwoven with the fable of Mohammad and the creation of Islam are the stories of modern-day Muslims living in America, a very effective if somewhat nonlinear anecdote. It’s not objective a history of Mohammad and Islam, nor is it a tale about modern-day Muslims (both by birth and by choice), but a graceful interweaving of the two. The subtitle ‘Legacy of a Prophet’ really says it all, as these people live their lives in accordance with the teachings and examples of Mohammad, calm looking to him as a role model and looking at his life for guidance over a thousand years after he walked the earth. I wish more people with begin minds would recognize things like this and advance to realise that the majority of Muslims are kind sweet superior peace-loving people like the people in this video, such as Kevin the fireman, Ingrid the professor (she appears in the deleted scenes), and Najah the nurse. As is pointed out in the scene at the Dearborn soup kitchen, the Catholic priest who came there to learn more about Muslims soon found out the truth about the religion and its practioners, and that the extremists in the news are a miniature minority, the same arrangement that if an outsider to his maintain faith had asked him about outrageous and newsworthy examples of so-called Catholics behaving badly, he’d rightly justify to the person that that’s the exception and not the rule. It was also surprising to learn that Dearborn, Michigan has a spacious Muslim population; you don’t usually deem of a city in Middle America as having a broad immigrant or Muslim population! After seeing this documentary, now I have even more respect and treasure for Islam, even though it’s not my occupy personal path to the Divine, and for the prophet Mohammad.
The extras are also titanic. There are a number of deleted scenes, interviews, and a virtual Hajj. Also very keen and inspirational is that the people who made this documentary are Muslims, Jews, and Christians, all working together with mutual respect and tolerance for one another’s faiths. The Islamic artwork customary for illustrations during the historical narratives was also very aesthetic and curious, and as the non-Muslim film-makers soon found out, the anecdote or the visuals didn’t lose any of their zing or power objective because the subject of the documentary is not allowed to be given a face or even drawn at all. That convention of Islamic artwork unprejudiced makes the viewer really pay attention to the epic of Mohammad’s life and the profound impact he unexcited has on his millions of followers the world over today, instead of looking at a physical depiction of him and getting one region opinion about who he was based on that. Magnaflow Cat – Back I purchased this system to replace the stock system that was going bad. I wanted an all stainless steel system so that I would never have to replace it again, since I plan on keeping my Tahoe for a long time. I also wanted a little bit more of a “meaner” sound from the truck. I think that with this system, I achieved both. The system is beautifully finished,(it’s a shame that you can’t see anthing but the tip) and it sounds great! This is my family vehicle, so I didn’t want it to sound too loud. The sound is just right, a nice snarle at start up, good rumble during acceleration, but no drone at highway speeds. It is finished off with a beautiful exhaust tip that really sets off the truck. Installation was very straight forward and one of the easiest additions that I have done. The hardest part was the removal of the old rusty system. I highly recommend this product!
I cherish the newer episodes that are now on PBS, but really enjoyed these since I grew up watching them. Huge dvd!
We were disappointed by this DVD. Our daughter loves the newer PBS Berenstain Bears, and we assumed this was the latest installment, because it was honest released. Turns out this disk is simply recycled archives from the ’80s. Given that, they’re not poor, but they’re nowhere approach the quality of the modern episodes, both in terms of the tale lines and the production. First off this is Warner Brothers DVD release I am talking about for my review. Warner Brothers has finally released Till The Clouds Roll By on DVD! The movie is about the life and career of Jerome Kern. Robert Walker protrays Jerome Kern. This movie isn’t exactly accruate but it has many tall numbers from the MGM stars of the time. Some of the highlights include a mini verison of Prove Boat, How’d You Like to Spoon with Me?, and Judy Garland singing some numbers. Most of the MGM stars are in this movie including, Judy Garland, June Allyson, Kathryn Grayson, Lena Horne, Van Johnson, Tony Martin, Dinah Shore, Frank Sinatra, Gower Champion, Cyd Charisse, Angela Lansbury, Ray McDonald, Virginia O’Brien, and Lucille Bremer. As for the numbers, here is a list and a mini description:
Mini version of Exhibit Boat- The movie opens up here at the opening night of the prove. Tony Martin sings “Where’s the Mate for Me.” “Acquire Possess” is sung by Tony Martin and Kathryn Grayson. Kathryn Grayson would later appear in the 1951 film “Indicate Boat” as the same character, Magnolia. Till the Clouds Roll By is a nice film but in my belief it seems to straggle on more than it should. Some of it is too made up for Hollywood as well. The accurate Jerome Kern was technical advisor on this film, but he died before the film was completed. On a final stamp, if you relish the MGM musicals I say notice it but, if your looking for an good movie this isn’t it.
TILL THE CLOUDS ROLL BY has never been considered one of MGM’s greatest musicals. The film is a somewhat syrupy biographical memoir of the life of Jerome Kern. In some ways this cannot be seen as a criticism. The film begins with the opening night of SHOWBOAT. After the performance Kern gets in a taxi and tells the driver his life epic. Of course if he’s telling the legend it’s going to be a nice memoir. And Robert Walker, who plays Kern, presents Kern as a likable guy and a hero we want to root for and hope will succeed.
More than likely MGM didn’t release this film to enlighten the yarn of Jerome Kern. If anything, it was impartial an excuse to showcase it’s stars and as viewers have discovered, it is a showcase of MGM’s substantial talent. Musical numbers include Judy Garland as Marilyn Miller performing on of Garland’s showpieces “Who? ” The SHOWBOAT sequence at the beginning is probably one of the film’s greatest moments and includes Kathryn Grayson as Magnolia, a role she’d reprise a few years later when MGM released a newer version of SHOWBOAT. It’s lively to imprint that the staging of SHOWBOAT in this film is less stereotypical than the later version released by MGM and has Lena Horne as Julie Laverne, a far more factual casting (no offense to Ava Gardner) . Dinah Shore and Angela Lansbury appear as well as do MGM favorites June Allyson, Virginia O’Brien, Gower Champion, Lucille Bremer and a young Cyd Charisse. It also has a finale that showcases the talents of many of the major players and includes an appearance by Frank Sinatra.
My guess is that most people who rob this film will witness it in its entirety once or twice, but it will not sit on the shelf and procure dusty. With remote in hand, people will place this film in the player and glance their current clips over and over again and will be entertained time and time again. Sat least that’s what I’ve done and I’m certain will continue to do.

Not recommended I ordered this unit in 2007. However, for various reasons, I did not install it until the summer of 2008. Suffice it to say that it has been nothing but trouble since then. The installation manual appears to be complete until you try to set the unit to be accessible over the internet. Pieces of information for setting that up are found all over the manual. BTW, they failed to add page references for linked information, i.e., See page xx. I am director of information technologies for a prominent college so my staff and I are far from technology neophytes. However, it was only after I got advice from two of my staff that I finally got the unit online — one of them an expert in CCTV and networked DVRs.
Since then, the Lorex DVR has dropped off the internet on many occasions. At first, I thought it was because my ISP was changing IP addresses. That turned out not to be the case. Lorex uses [...]t to provide DDNS service. I soon learned that they their system was often down. So, I began using [...]. Their service was great but they could provide DDNS service only when the Lorex DVR was working properly.
I found that Lorex tech service was spotty at best and their techs often knew less about the product than I did. (I probably spent 75 hours trying to get the DVR to function properly.) They often ignored emails and always required me to be “in front of the unit” when I called. That was not easy given my work schedule and their service hours. I once exchanged emails with one tech because of a video display problem. He had me go through all sorts of processes including loading new firmware. I even sent .jpegs of the screen. It turned out I had accidentally flipped the tiny NTSC/PAL switch on the back of the unit. When I diagnosed it myself, he had never thought of that possibility.
Within the last month, the unit started to fail completely. It would appear on the net only sporadically and I had to reset it numerous times. Then it began to freeze and the “menu” was not accessible manually or by using the remote. Unplugging it was the only solution but that, too, stopped working after a couple of weeks. The unit would start loading programs and then lock up.
Over the weekend, I ordered a new DVR from another company. After having paid almost $800 for the Lorex 4-channel, 300GB DVR and having so many problems, I am not a happy consumer. The new unit cost less than $700 and is 8-channel with a 500GB hard drive. Hopefully, it will provide better service.
Bottom line: I wouldn’t touch another Lorex product for any amount of money. However, your mileage may vary.

This is a stout flick and Anthony Hopkins is at his subtle best!Diagram more than 5 stars.The synopsis:Burt Munro, a Kiwi from far south Fresh Zealand has been building and rebuilding his motorcycle for the last 40 years, dreaming of the day when he and the bike can go to Bonneville Salt Flats,USA and gawk what they can really do. When Burt’s heart goes dreadful on him, his dreaming is threatened to advance to an slay. Burt is not ready to finish dreaming. He decides to mortgage his house and bring his dream to life. He and the motorcycle head for American and the Bonneville Salt Flats,Utah to participate in ‘Speed Week’. When they land in in the US the fun begins. His glide from Long Beach to Utah brings him through a noxious fragment of American ‘characters’. Each recognizes in Burt, that burning desire to conclude a dream and each helps him in the method that they can to get that dream happen. There are so many comic and resplendent moments but one that near to mind is when Burt meets Tina, the transvestite motel clerk…that whole interaction is so pretty. Or when Burt finally stands on Bonneville Salt Flats, by himself thinking of all the greatness that has transpired here and now he, Burt Munro, can at last test himself on this ’sacred ground’. Man! it brings shivers to ogle Anthony Hopkins do that moment.While the film is about motorcycles and snappy cars, it is not a movie about motorheads. It is a tale we can all accept something out of- even your Grandma will cherish it. Don’t own back-go scrutinize it now. A Cultural Sidebar:I happen to have been in Unique Zealand when this film started it’s world release in it’s home country..Oct. 2005. The Kiwis, normally a reserved and sober lot, were crazy on this movie. For a week that is all the entertainment news there was, waste to extinguish on both islands. Munro’s actually Indian Scout motorcycle made the rounds of movie houses, sort of a hero’s artifact for theater goers inspection. In general, the Kiwis felt that Hopkins and Donaldson had really nailed the Kiwi national ‘character’, straight talking but not offensive, a master of ‘#8 wire’ ingenuity, reserved but sure. All this allowed Munro to beget his bike to it’s peak,derive it to America, and rise above the better financed competition. Hopkins was given accolades for nailing a South Island,Novel Zealand accent.People that had known Munro claimed Hopkins had portrayed Munro as they knew him. As an American I like they plot Donaldson portrayed Americans.I found the movie to be a classic American dream legend. Go observe the movie, you won’t be sorry.
Burt Munro was a man who had many loves: women, race, things mechanical, tinkering, life itself and perhaps most passionately and enduringly his dilapidated Indian motorcycle. This film lovingly chronicles Burt’s pursuit of the seemingly impossible dream inspired by his Indian, and the incredible quest which took him from the village of Invercargill, Current Zealand to the Bonneville Salt Flats of Utah.
Director Donaldson tells Burt’s feel satisfactory tale in a straightforward and unemotional manner, with many of the scenes being filmed on dwelling in Invercargill and at Bonneville. Anthony Hopkins is so perfectly cast that he seems to become Burt. His interviews while promoting the film made it certain how remarkable he enjoyed the role and respected Burt’s achievements; the Kiwis who knew Burt were very contented with his faithful portrayal in his film. The supporting cast also does an favorable job, although in all probability the only other individuals recognizable to most moviegoers will be Diane Ladd as Ada and Bruce Greenwood as Jerry, who helps Burt overcome the resistance he encounters when he arrives at Bonneville with a vehicle which breaks all the safety rules. In addition, deserving special mention in a brief appearance as Tina is Chris Williams.
The director very intelligently decided to provide several laughable moments and a lot of casual humor to maintain the approximately two hour long movie bright at a reasonable chase. The natural tension inherent in several obstacles Burt had to overcome (e.g. his lack of financial resources, the aforementioned mentioned problems before being allowed to urge his vehicle, a heart condition which landed him in the hospital) are wisely handled in a summary way; after all, everyone in the audience already knows the reason why the film was made is because despite his small resources and working entirely on his bear Burt was successful in converting his motorcycle which was originally not built to exceed 54 MPH into THE WORLD’S FASTEST INDIAN.
My five star rating for this film is not based on the fact that I consider it is a enormous movie; in fact, it left several unanswered questions to which I hope that further research will provide some answers. And I certainly wish it had managed to incorporate more of the wonderfully scenic Recent Zealand countryside where Burt lived. Rather, my rating is based on the racy manner in which this film tells Burt’s tale; he captivated me impartial as he eventually managed to captivate almost everyone with whom he came in contact, even those individuals who didn’t piece his opinion in himself or perhaps considered him a cramped crazy. In summary, I highly recommend this legend of perseverance and achievement for everyone willing to employ a few hours with Burt as he pursues his dream to its satisfying and highly emotional conclusion. (The director’s genius was in recognizing that the myth itself would provoke most moviegoers into cheering wildly or crying tears of joy with Burt before his time in Bonneville is finished, no cinematic tricks or artificial situation devices were valuable.) It is truly panic absorbing to realize that many of the records which Burt area unexcited survive today, and thus his machine is not only aloof THE WORLD’S FASTEST INDIAN but remains unbeaten by all engines in its category.
This was first-rate, a 12 piece boy scout action/adventure series. If you are keen in Boy Scouts you will devour. We showed this at a YMCA Lock in our Troop did, and a lot of the boys really got into it. I recall all of these veteran scout videos I procure, this one was definetely original.
